I was drawn to Montessori education because of its holistic approach to learning and the deep respect it shows for each child. I love that Montessori recognizes children as capable individuals with unique strengths, interests, and potential. I am passionate about fostering independence, building character, and helping children develop a lifelong love of learning. With a background in the arts, I have always enjoyed creativity, teaching, and inspiring young minds.
One of the things I love most about Acorn Montessori School is the strong sense of community among the staff, children, and families. Acorn’s commitment to treating every child with kindness, dignity, and respect closely aligns with my own educational values, and I am excited to begin my teaching journey here.
One of my favorite Maria Montessori quotes is: “If teaching is to be effective with young children, it must assist them to advance on the way to independence.” This quote serves as a reminder that our role as educators is not simply to teach, but to guide children as they grow into confident, capable, and independent individuals.
