Karen Cubberly

I was born and raised amongst the rolling hills of Northwestern New Jersey and have taught children and adults for decades within public and private schools, various camps, and the Arc of Hunterdon County. When my own daughter began attending Acorn Montessori School, I saw how the Montessori Method aligned with my own methods of teaching. I fell in love with how children are able to grow in a nurturing environment that allows them to breathe, focus, explore, learn, and experience joy. Soon after, I became Acorn’s music teacher and now lead the Burr Oak and the After School programs. I believe love, children, and fun are our world’s greatest assets, and I'm thrilled to be able to focus her purpose in life on these at Acorn. My favorite quote by
