Bulletin: IMPORTANT Safety Guidelines

Safety is ALWAYS our first priority and with the addition of the new driveway and a change in some of the driving and parking patterns, we have recognized the need for some additional safety guidelines. Please read through the following items carefully as we will be enforcing these policies for the safety and well-being of our children and families.

1. The speed limit throughout the entire campus is 5 mph.
   Please go slowly ... children are everywhere and it is important to be going slow enough to be able to stop quickly.
2. Stop at crosswalks
3. Carefully follow the drop off procedures in the appropriate drop off areas.
4. Follow the driving patterns all the way around. Do not back-up or do a 'K' turn to exit
5. For carline, all children must exit on the right side of the vehicle.
   We cannot allow them to exit on the left side as other vehicles may be passing on the left and it is unsafe for your child.
6. When parlking in the elementary parking spaces, and walking down to the children's house buildings, please use the crosswalks, paths and grassy areas. Do not walk in the driveway as cars are constantly coming through.
7. When picking children up in either of the elementary buildings please make sure to keep your children on the grass at all times. The driveway is close to the dismissal doors and it is dangerous for them to run out into the driveway. Also, when backing out of a space, make sure no one is behind you or coming around the corner.

We are in the process of adding fencing and speed bumps to continue to suppport and ensure everyone's safety. In the meantime, it is extremely important that we are all extra observant and careful!
